Harry Redknapp believes that Harry Kane would be a magnificent replacement for Sergio Aguero at Manchester City.
Kane made it clear that he will not stay at Tottenham "because of this" and is closely linked to Manchester United.
There is some doubt that someone would pay his alleged £ 150 million fee, particularly with injuries limiting his appearances over the past three seasons.
“Listen, Harry is an ambitious boy. He's a fantastic professional, a great guy, and he wants to play and win things, "Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
“They need surgery in the summer, but are they going to spend any money? Is anyone going to spend money now in the next two years and make big transfers?
"He'll be looking at this and thinking 'hang on'.
“And what a player he would be for one of those better clubs. I don't want to see him leave Tottenham or Tottenham fans, but what a center of attack he would be for Man City, for example, with Aguero coming to an end.
"He would be a great signing for anyone. He's a great player and a great professional – I hope he stays at Tottenham, but he won't be, unless he sees them pushing to win things."
