Avatar 2 gained four new concept arts today, revealing landscapes of the fictional Pandora planet, which we will explore in the follow-up to the 2009 feature film. The sequel premiere is set for December 2021.
All images feature the prominent presence of Pandora Waters, which will play an important role in the plot, still kept under lock and key by the studio. The protagonists Jake and Neytiri appear aiming at the ocean in one of them.
In the #Avatar sequels, you won't just return to Pandora – you'll explore new parts of the world.

In another, several members of the alien Na'Vi race emerge mounted on banshee's, flying over the water toward an island of huge rooted trees.
The Na'Vi also emerge by riding another sea creature in one of the arts, which still includes a gigantic half-circle rock formation. Finally, the fourth image presents us with an enchanting aquatic landscape illuminated at night.
Directed by James Cameron, Avatar 2 will feature cast news such as Kate Winslet (joining director after Titanic), Edie Falco (Soprano Family) and Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones).
